(By “Torpedo.”) Christchurch Carnival Week will he advanced another stage to-morrow, when the Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meeting will open, and the biggest event of the light harness year, the New Zealand Trotting Cup, will he run. The track at Addington is in perfect order for the week’s racing, and fast times should be recorded.
