NO SILK STOCKINGS.
WOMEN TERRITORIALS. WAR OFFICE REGULATION. LONDON, October 20. The War Office has forbidden women Territorials to wear silk stockings. These must be of drab material, similar to the regulation skirts and tunics, and must not be transparent. The women’s uniforms regulations provide for a skirt 14i.n. from the ground and sufficiently wide for free movement, a jacket similar to that of army officers and low-heeled, plain, lacing shoes.
