GIRLS’ BIBLE-CLASS.

MEETING AT TINWALD. Mrs H. A. Childs presided pver a large attendance at the weekly meeting of the Tinwald Girls’ Bible Class. Arrangements were made for the Bazaar on November 15. A large number of garments for sale were handed in by members. The secretary reported that she had arranged for a halfhour concert in the evening.

A vote of thanks was passed to Mrs Hulme for her donation of a doll for competition. Entries were received for the tray cloth competition, and the competitors offered their entries for sale. The stallholders were arranged.

Opportunity was taken to make arrangements for some members of the Girls’ Friendly Society to visit Christchurch for the annual break-up and presentation of prizes.
