EXHIBITION COMPANY.

SUM OF £97,000 SUBSCRIBED. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, October 27. Reporting to the second annual meeting of - shareholders in the New Zealand Exhibition Company, Mr Charles Todd (vice-chairman of the company) said tho amount of share capital subscribed to date was £97,000. He added that it was hoped to have £150,000, in addition to the Government subsidy of £50,000 ! and the Government loan of £25,000. Mr Todd, read a letter from the Minister for Industries and Commerce (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan) stating that the Government would make some additional financial provision to assist the company in its early stages, ana that the form it would take would be notified later.
