GARRIGAN SHIELD CONTEST. RAKAIA BEATS DOR IE IN FINAL. The Rakaia Aliniature Rifle Club beat the Doric Club by 624 points to 620 in the final match of the Garrigan Shield, fired on the Dorie range. The scores were: Rakaia—R. A. Oakley 78, H. Cromie 80, AA r . AfcAnulty 79, I. J. Duncan 78, D. Brown 78, D. Stewart 77, H. Craig 77, G. Cromie 77; total 624. Dorie—C. Scott 79, L. Kingsbury 79, J. Beard 78, R. Kingsbury 78, B. Kingsbury 78, AI. Scott 76, J. Baxter 76. L. Gardiner 76; total 620. WEEKLY SHOOT AT DORIE. There was a fair attendance' at the weekly shoot of the Dorie Miniature Rifle Club, held in the Ardamine Hall. The No. 18 trophy was won by A 7". Blackburn, and the club’s cash prize for second by R. Kingsbury. The scores were as follow: V. Blackburn (7) 65, 66, 66, R. Kingsbury (scr) 70, 70, 69, L. Gardiner (6) 67, 63, L. Kingsbury (scr) 70, 69, AI. iScott (scr) 63, J. Baxter (1) 67, J.
