Clarke, New Zealand leader of the Independent Order of Oddfellows, at the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of AYasliington Lodge at Spreydon to-night. “The executive has discussed the scheme and has discovered it will be very hard for friendly societies to get more members. A lodge must gradually go if no young members are ready to come in. AA’o will have to try to indfice them in with something better than fine benefits afforded.”
