THE METHVEN SUB-BRANCH. Mr J. Wootton. presided over the monthly meeting of the Methven Sub-branch of the Plunket Society. A motion of sympathy Avas passed with the relatives of the late Mrs J. Morgan. It Avas decided to supply luncheon on the* day of the meeting of the MidCanterbury Federation * of the Women’s Institutes, on October 5. The nurse’s report for August stated: Visits to homes, old cases 23, ncAv eases one; visits to rooms, adults 36; babies 38. older children five.
