Fletcher’s Ideal Carrot. It is quite coreless, and has tender, almost transparent flesh of rich colour. Specially Selected Stock. —This variety has dark red flesh, and is free from earthy taste that spoils some varieties. This very fine stock is the result of long endeavours by the grower to produce a perfect type, and is quite distinct from the stocks usually offered under this name. Round, flat, short leaved-—A worthy companion to the great Marrowfat Parsnip, which has found a most wonderful sale. Grows quickly and its pure white flesh is firm and tender. On account of its very short foliage, this Parsnip requires considerably less room, and therefore yields larger crops than the stronger leaved varieties.
