On no grounds can it he said the luck was with the Indians in playing a draw, for most of the play they showed aggression, and most spectators left with the impression that the dusky barefooted visitors were a better side, and should have won. India, perhaps, did not reach the brilliant heights expected after their impressive showing against Queensland on Tuesday, which was no doubt due to their keenness to win, and so avenge the Sydney defeat.
