SHOT AND ROBBED.
RUMANIAN OFFICIAL. THIEVES TAKE LARGE SUM VIENNA, ISeptemlver 2. A high Rumanian official was attacked and robbed on the Buchar-est-Klausenherg express. The thieves shot him in the body, chokjed him, and decamped with more than £6OO. A State investigation has been ordered. The newspapers hint at “interesting repercussions.’ ’ The victim is Herr Caspar, a former Hungarian Deputy, and now private secretary to Dr. Vaida Voevod, a member of King Carol s Crown Council.
