The Japanese claim to have dislodged, after four week’s effort, five Chinese divisions from the strategic hills west of Juichang. CHINESE RETAIN A TOWN. CHANGES HANDS TWICE. (Received: This Dav, 12.50 p.m.) HANKOW, Sept, 11. The Japanese, driving toward Kiukiang, heavily shelled and stormed Sikuling, which changed hands twice, remaining in the possession or the Chinese. Strong Chinese lines elsewhere are impeding the Japanese advance. REINFORCEMENTS FROM JAPAN (Received This Day, 12.50 p.m.) PEIPING, September 11. Eighty thousand reinforcements have arrived at Tientsin from Japan.
