FAREWELL SOCIAL.
ASHBURTON BOXING TEAM A social and dance was held last evening by the Ashburton Boxing Association to farewell the local representative boxing team which will leave for Gisborne on Monday to take part in the Dominion Tournament. During the evening the Mayor (Dr. G. I. Miller) and the. Patron of the Association (Mr A. N. Grigg) spoke and: wished the team the best of luck. Oji behalf of the team the manager (Mr 1). Smith) replied.
