OFFICERS ELECTED.
THE VETERINARY ASSOCIATION. (Per Press Association.) WETJIANCTON, Tins Day. The conference of the New Zealand Veterinary Association elected flic following; officers, none of whom was opposed :—President, Mr AV. C. Barry; vice-president, Mr AY. T. Collins ; members of the council, Messrs H. S'. S. Kyle, ALP., AY. Pierson, J. E. McIhvaine. AV. T. Collins, and AV. C. Barry; secretary. Air L. \Y. Nifitch; treasurer, Air A. Af. Buddie. The retiring president is Air H. S. S. Kyle, ALP., to whom, tribute was paid by Air Barry in his presidential address. Air Nifitch has been acting as secretary since Dr. Hopkirk resigned last Alarch. Dr. Hopkirk is at present overseas visiting research institutes. He will represent the association at the international veterinary congress in Switzerland in August. Air Collins, the new vice-president, was tin' first secretary of the association, and was intimately associated with its formation.
