THE WOMEN’S DIVISION
THE WINGHMORE MEETING. The monthly meeting of the. Winchmore branch of the Women’s Division of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union was held in the Winchmorc Hall. The president (Mrs .T. Shearer) presided over a good attendance. Misses Mary Hanrahan. and Maureen McKendry were elected joint secretaries in place of Mrs F. A. Scott, who resigned on leaving the district. Two members were elected to represent tile Division on tho Social Club committee. Winners of the competitions' were: — Flowers, Mrs J. Shearer 1. Mrs D. McKendry 2; thrift article, Mrs K. Nicholson 1, Mrs I). McKendry 2; bran loaf, Airs Tv. Nicholson. The hostesses were All's K. Niehoison and Mrs D. Todd.
