BLOMFI ELD BEATS MOEN. DUNEDIN. May 29. Although the professional wrestling bout held on Saturday night between “Lofty” Blomfield and Andy Moon, both !L6st Sib, was fast anil interesting, it came to a somewhat unsatisfactory ending. Moon took a tall with a headlock in the fifth round, Blomfield equalising in the seventh with a clamp. Moen was still feeling the effects when he came out for the eighth round and, sparring for a time, he used the ropes whenever possible. At this stage the referee, Mr Frank Anderson, stopped the bout and gave the decision to Blomfield, though Moen insisted he was able and willing to continue. KENNEDY BEATS JENSEN. GREYMOUTH, May 29.. After a likely encounter, Jack Kennedy beat Leo Jensen by two falls to one in a wrestling contest on Saturday 7 night, the bout ending in the sixth round. Kennedy gained his first fall with a. body press following a series of elbow jolts in the second round. Jensen equalised with a Japanese arm lock in the fourth. Jensen was compelled to submit immediately to a Boston crab on the start of the sixth round.
