INVESTIGATION BY MINISTER. Mr H. E. Herring, M.P., telegraphs from Wellington that he lias had tangible evidence of tbo vast amount of work entailed bv the investigation into the question of lime supplies. Finality will early lie reached, and the question of a meeting of representatives of the Farmers’ Union with the Minister in Christchurch can then lie decided.
