Hattersley (Australia) beat Dr. William Anderson, 4- and 2 ; Thomson defeated AlcKinlev at the twentieth; Yates (America) defeated Robb, 6 and 5 ; Somerville (Canada) defeated AlcGregor, 4 and 2 ; Stevenson defeated Kocsis, 7 and 5; C. Ewing (Ireland) defeated Kyle, 2 and 1 ; Cyril Tolley defeated Roberts, 3 and 2; Crawley defeated Francis, 8 and 7. The winners are the . last eight': Hattersley played glorious golf in a storm and rain and the worst conditions imaginable, as the wind at times reached gale force.
