GERMANS TRY TO EXPEL JEWS.

ENTRY INTO FRANCE REFUSED.

(United Press Association—Copyright * LONDON, May 26. The Paris correspondent of “The Times” says that Nazi Black Guards brought 56 Austrian Jews by lorry to Sterek, on the French frontier, ana told them' to enter France.

The Jews told the Fi'enelii that after the deprivation cf their property they were forced to sign papers renouncing their German nationality. French guards escorted them hack to the German frontier on the ground that Germany could not he allowed to create a precedent by expelling her own subjects to foreign soil in defiance cf international law.

The German frontier guards tried to stop the Jews from returning, but finally escorted them to barracks.
