ALLEGED KIDNAPPING ATTEMPT (United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, May 26. In spite of police reticence, the United Press Association learns that John Bruce Thornton, who has been remanded as a. result of the reported attempt to kidnap Lord Nuffield, is aged, 50. His address is “the yacht Pierrette Pinmil, Ipswich.” The yacht lias been taken into custody.
