FOUND IN HARBOUR.
CHILD’S BODY IN A SACK. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 25. When Mr D. W. T. Evans, a fisherman, of Graham’s Beach, was fishing in the Manukau harbour this morning, lie saw an object floating in the water, and when lie had retrieved it he found it was a sack enveloping a bucket, into which the body of a month-old Maori boy child had been jammed. It is understood that accompanying the body was a piece of paper with the date written on it, a circumstance which may help the police iii their inquiries. ~
