MINIATURE RIFLES.

THE METHVEN CLUB, Several new members attended the weekly shoot of the Methven Miniature Rifle Club on Friday night. Good shooting was recorded and the following scores were registered: Club Trophy Match—W. M. Holland 78, 80 (2) 160, J. Rouse 74-75 (10) 159; W. Lumsden 77-78 (3) 158, W. J. Halliday 73-67 (16) 156, G. Waddington 7976 (7) 162, J. E. Carr 78-79 (2) 159, E. J. Watson 70-73 (9) 152, T. Middleton 74-66 (1) 147. Holland was the highest scorer in the Hotty Button competition with 80. Next best were Carr (79), Lumsden (78), Waddington (74) and Middleton (66).
