THE LOAN OVER-SUBSCRIBED. (United Press Association—Copyright.) PARIS, May 16. The defence loan of £28,000,000 was over-subscribed. Wireless talks, tricoloured posters, and army aeroplanes trailing banners exhorted the people to subscribe to the loan. Bonds of 100 francs were issued for the humblest to subscribe.
