SOUTH ATLANTIC FLIGHT.

ITALIANS MOONLIGHT JOURNEY

Lieutenant Bruno Mussolini took off from Guidonia on his South Atlantic flight. Three triple-engined high speed bombers of the Savoia-Marchetti type are taking part.- The "leader is Colonel Biseo, the record flyer, and private pilot to II Duce. The other ’planes are piloted by Lieutenant Bruno Mussolini and Captain Moscatelli. The route will be across the Sahara and the South Atlantic to Brazil.

It is intended to make only one stop, namely at Dakar (Senegal). The ’planes, which departed in close triangle fighting formation, won the first three places in the recent Istfes Damascus to Paris air race. They have taken part in bombing raids in Barcelona and otlftr cities, from the base in Palma and Majorca.

ARRIVAL AT DAKAR. (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) DAKAR, January 24. Lieutenant Bruno Mussolini and the other Italian aviators who left Guidonia at 6.45 p.m. on a moonlight South Atlantic flight have arrived here.
