McFarlane Shield and Ashburton County School garden competition results were announced at a meeting of the Canterbury Education Board yesterday. Results were: — McFarlane ’ Shield—West Spreydon (137£ points) 1, Mangamaunu and Ashburton Borough (132 points) equal 2. Ashburton County Schools (open section) —Flemington (86 points) 1, Ealing (84 i points) 2, Eiffelton ;(84 points) 3. Ashburton County Schools (solo charge section) —Flemington (86 points) 1, Ealing (84} points) 2, Carew (65 points) 3.
