MID-CANTERBURY COMPETITIONS THE POSITIONS OF THE TEAMS. b In the senior competition of the MidCanterbury Lawn Tennis Association, Te Marae, with two wins, is the leading team at the end of the first round. It is not yet known whether a second round will be played. The junior competition has reached an interesting stage. With four rounds yet to. play, Baring Square has two wins without a loss, and Allenton and Methven have two wins and one loss each. Three teams have one win each. The present position of teams is:
