The destroyer Wolverine, which went to the assistance, in the Atlantic, of the 11,000 ton Royal fleet auxiliary oiler War Bahadua, whose bridge, wireless , aerial and boats were swept away, escorted the oiler into Plymouth. GERMANS ANSWER CALL FOR HELP. NEW YORK, January 17. The North German Lloyd liner Europa, sent a wireless message that she was proceeding to the assistance of the British cargo steamer Cragpool, .5133 tons, which is in distress in the Atlantic midway between Liverpool and New York.
It was reported that water was leaking into the engine-room, but the vessel -was in no immediate danger of sinking.

(Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) NEW YORK,,; January 18. The liner President Roosevelt intercepted a radio message from the Cragpool, saying: “O.K. Proceeding.”
