LABOUR RIVALRY.

CONDITIONS IN UNITED STATES. (United Press Association—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, November 29. Tlie prospects of peace between the rival labour bodies, the American Federation of Labour and the Committee for Industrial Organisation, appear to be seriously threatened by the federation’s .rejection of the committee’s proposal for a partial truce. On the contrary, the American Federation of Labour will demand a final and full peace. It is understood that the Committee for Industrial Organisation requested the federation to grant it industrial charters in the mass production, maritime and also certain minor industries, in return for which the committee would rejoin the federation.
