Interviewed aboard the Aorangi Miss Patricia Webb said she felt she had passed the examination, but would have done better ashore, as the sea was rough at the time of sitting. Miss Webb was granted special permission ,by the Auckland University to sit a degree examination while a passenger on the Aorangi from Auckland to Sydney.
