SLANDER ALLEGED.
< WRIT AGAINST A CARDINAL. GEORGE A. McMAHON AGAIN. (United Press Association—Copyright.! (Received This Day, 12.55 p.m.) LONDON, November 18. A writ alleging slander has been taken out against Cardinal Hinsley by George Andrew McMahon. The grounds are not disclosed. McMahon was the man who created a world-wide sensation by hurling a loaded pistol on the roadway while King Edward VIII. was passing Constitution Hill in a Ceremonial procession on July 16 last year.
