A message states that a two days’ man-hunt in the mountains, in which an aeroplane, horses, dogs and trackers collaborated, ended with the arrest of a Spaniard, Y 7 gnacio Ayerza, aged 51, who is charged with shooting dead his daughter Theresa, aged 18, and also her fiance, Julian Galan, aged 32. It is alleged that Ayerza and his wife were driving the couple to their wedding, when Ayerza quarrelled with Galan and shot him and Theresa. He fled to the mountains, which the pursuers surrounded, closing in in response to signals from the aeroplane.
