(United: Press Association —Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) LONDON, July 16. A tennis match Australia versus England, under Davis Cup conditions, was played at Eastbourne. C. E. Hare defeated Crawford 6-2, 6-2, 2-6, 3-6, 6-3. Austin heat McGrath 6-1, 6-2, 6-3. Tuckey (England) defeated Bromwich, 6-0, 6-2, 6-1.
Quist and McGrath (Australia) defeated Hare and Wilde, 2-6, 8-6, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.
