Talk of a fabulously rich lost gold mine worked Ly the Spanish Conquistadores has been revived by a report that miners in the Chiriqui Province found 35 gold bars, eacli of 50lbs, and worth 900,000 dollars, also the Spanish colonial arms on crude gold-washing equipment.
The police are guarding tbe gold pending a Government claim to ownership.
