METHVEN BEAT SPRINGBURN.

WOMEN’S FRIENDLY GAME. A friendly Avomen’s hockey match Avas played between Springburn and Methven, at Methven, on Saturday. For the first match of the season a surprisingly good game resulted. Springburn had not played for three years and their reappearance in the gamo this year should add interest to the ‘competitions. Methven Avon by one goal to nil, the scorer being R. Street. Mr H. Glasson Avas referee.
