H. F. Broadbent, who is attempting to lower H. L. Brook’s solo record from Australia to Britain, has passed over Bagdad. BROOK ON RETURN JOURNEY

H. L. Brook, who left Cape Town yesterday on his .return flight to England, landed at Broken Hill and later left for Kisunni.

Madame Claire Roman and Mdlle. Lucas Naldin have arrived here, their destination. They took off from Le Hour get on April 22 in a small monoplane in an attempt on a new record to Pondicherry', Frynch India, via Rome, Damascus and Karachi.
RUMANIAN PRINCE'S FLIGHT.
(Received This Day, 9.5 a.in.) LONDON, May 1
Prince Constantin Cantacuzene, aged 27, of Rumania, Hying a Caudrou Renault, with a top speed of 237 miles an hour and a radius of 3700 miles, left Hatfield in an attempt to break thei England to Johannesburg and England to Gape l coords. He plans only two stops, the first south of the Sahara and the next in Central Africa. He will sleep for brief periods, using the automatic pilot. It was later .reported that the Prince had made a forced landing at Algiers owing to mechanical trouble, but alterwards resumed his journey.
