MARLENE DIETRICH.
AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP.
(United Press Association—Copyright.) LOS ANGELES, March 6. Miss Marlene Dietrich appeared unexpectedly before the Federal Court and signed the first papers necessary to become an American citizen. She took the oath of allegiance and became eligible for citizenship in two years. She gave her legal name as Maria Magdalent Sieber, her birthday -as February 27, 1904, and her birthplace as Berlin.
