The Duke, it is stated, has taken an optiou oA'er three American estates. The one favoured most is a castle-like country home of 20 rooms, near Baltimore. Tho option provides for a year’s lease, Avith the right to renew for two or more years.

The owner, Mr Sumner Parker, a Baltimore machinery manufacturer, has just sailed for Europe.
