LIFTING OF BAN DESIRED. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Further .representations are being made to the Government of Australia to have the ban on Mrs Freer’s entry to the Commonwealth lifted. Her solicitor (Mr M. O. Barnett) said there was no intention of taking any legal action, but Mrs Freer’s case was being considered by eminent counsel in Australia, and strong representations would be made to the Federal Cabinet when it meets in the New Year.
