GERMANY AND THE SOVIET. THE ARRESTS IN MOSCOW. (United Press Association—Copyright BERLIN, November; 12. Tension between Germany and Russia has increased after tlie arrests in Moscow of six Germans and several Russians with relations at the German Embassy, or belonging to the German school or the German Evangelical Church. They include Pastor Streck, a teacher at the man school, and an adviser to the Embassy, and a doctor attending members of the Embassy. The newspaper “Der Angriff” says others of those arrested are. delegates from foreign communists, including two Englishmen, who went to Moscow to celebrate the nineteenth anniversary of the revolution. They are charged with attempting to establish a link between the followers of Trotsky abroad and in Russia, A message from London yesterday said: After the mass,arrests in Moscow yesterday, allegations of espionage and sabotage in favour of a certain central European Power were made against a large number of foreigners. It has been reported to Whitehall from Moscow that about 60 Germans, Austrians, Swedes, and Poles were arrested in the anti-fascist pudge. Several foreigners were earlier arrasted on suspicion of being concerned in what is believed to be a widespread fascist plot against the Government. The accused are alleged to form part of an organisation with' agents throughout the country.

OVER A HUNDRED ARRESTS. VIGOROUS PROTEST BY GERMANY (Received This Day, 10 a.m.) LONDON, November 13. Latest reports from Berlin state that the arrests in Moscow exceed 100. The German Government lias 'vigorously protested to Moscow against the arrests of Germans.
