MISSING LAUNCH.
THREE VESSELS TO SEARCH. (United Press Association—Copyright.) SYDNEYy November 11. The destroyer Vendetta to-day began a search for the’ "auxiliary cruiser Viking, which is ■ overdue at Lord Howe Island from'Sydney. A large yacht, the Wanderer, which is owned*hy Mr Norman Wallis, of Sydney, also left for the same purpose. Mr Wallis, who is’ a friend of Mr Gower C. Wilson, owner of the Viking, lias five companions and provisions for 10 days. The French steamer Cape Tarifa, cn route to Noumea from Port Iveimbla, is diverting .from its’ course with the object of searching for the Viking.
