LEARN-TO-SWIM WEEK.
CAMPAIGN IN DECEMBER. APPROVAL AT WELLINGTON. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Favourable consideration of the proposal to hold a national “learn-to-swim week” early in December was given by the Wellington Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association. A letter from the secretary of the Association stressed the urgency of the matter, as the suggested dates were December 7 to 13, or December 14 to 20. Swimming and) life-saving clubs throughout New Zealand were co-oper-ating.
