SPRING FLOWERS.

DISPLAY AT ALLENTON. WOMEN’S INSTITUTE SHOW. An attractive array of blooms was seen at the spring flower show of the Allenton Women’s Institute, held m the Allenton School this afternoon. The flowers were a feature of the show, and classes for both blooms and decorative displays were well patronisecl. Cooking and needlework classes were also well supported. Arrangements were efficiently carried out under till© supervision of the secretary (Mr G. Hosken). The judges were Archdeacon A. J. Fetrie (blooms and decorative), Miss M. McElhinney (needlework and cooking). A sweet stall in conjunction with the show did good business.
