At the wool sales 10,856 bales were offered, including 4707 New Zealand. The total sold was 8684. There was a moderate selection. Withdrawals were frequent among inferior sorts, but others sold well to the Home trade at current rates. New Zealand slip© halfbred lambs, Belfast, sold up to 18£d, with an average of 14id.
