FEW RECRUITS.
BRITISH INFANTRY RESERVE. (United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, September 17. “The Times” says recruiting for the new infantry reserve is worse than disappointing. Although it was intended to enlist 17,000 men, so far only 286 have joined up.
