The insurgents, warily advancing toward San Sebastian under desultory fire from Foit Guadaloupe, opened an attack on Port of Pasages, 10 miles from their objective. Port of Pasages is defended by two forts, namely, 1 asages de San Pedro and Trincherpe. General Mola’s artillery is responding to fire from the forts, while the roads from the Bedassoa River are crammed with his transports. A loyalist torpedo boat attacked the rebel battle-cruiser Espana, whose gung threaten San Sebastian. The torpedoboat, after firing, fled to sea, the cruiser pursuing her. Six thousand refugees have been evacuated from Hendaye to Tarbes, Babonenne and adjacent French towns.
