MESSAGE FROM AMERICANS. ADHERENCE TO MANDATE. (United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, September 3. A memorandum from the American Christian Conference on Palestine, ad,dressed to the Prime Minister, has been received. It urges upon the Government of Great Britain firm adherence to the terms of the Palestine mandate entrusted to its care by the nations of the world acting through the League of Nations. It adds: “The Balfour Declaration, upon which the mandate was based, has received the endorsement of the people of the United States, expressed publicly by every President since the World War, and in resolutions passed, unanimously by both Houses of Congress. The opportunity offered to the Jewish peojde to establish their national home in Palestine was accepted by enlightened public opinion in America as not only just and moral but as irrevocably guaranteed by international law.
