ANTI-FASCISM.

BRITISH TRADES UNIONS MOVE. SECRET SERVICE ORGANISATION. (United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, August 22. The “Sun Herald” News Service says it is revealed in a report of the Trades Union Congress that British and other Labour organisations have combined to support a secret service organisation directed to the overthrow of fascist and Nazi regimes. “This is a most important phase ot the struggle against Nazism,” the report states. “It is based on ai joint committee of the International Federation of Trades Unions and the International Secretariat, whose representatives will meet regularly to consider * the work secretly carried out. Time will prove that these activities have contributed to the undermining of these dictatorships.” Commenting on the matter, the “Daily Telegraph” expressed the opinion that the report was foolish and indiscreet. It would be said in Germany that British trades unions were conspiring for the overthrow of the Nazi regime. The British Trades Union Congress had no business to i nterfere. Moderate opinions in Britain gladly support the. Trades Union Congress against both fascism and communism, but agree that it should confine its attentions to the home country. RESOLUTION FOP.
