TWO JEWS KILLED IN AMBUSH.
SOLDIERS SHOOT FOUR ARABS.
SEARCH AFTER ENCOUNTER. (United Press Association —Copyright.) (Received This Day, 12.25 p.m.) JERUSALEM, August 21. Two Jews were killed and three wounded in an ambush at Kfar Saba, on the plain of Sharon. British troops killed four Arabs during search operations that followed the battle at Hevera yesterday.
JEWISH PROFESSOR SHOT.
KILLED AT DESK IN HOME. . i (Received This Day, 9.35 a.m.) JERUSALEM, August 21. A London Jew, Louis Billig, a graduate of Cambridge and professor of Semitic languages at Jerusalem University, was sitting at his desk in his home when he was shot dead with a dum-dum bullet. The murderer escaped.
