ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW WORKS.

Mr Latham Withell, the newly elected secretary of the Associated Chambers of Manufacturers in Australia, who arrived from England by the liner Oxford, said that arrangements had be'en made for an important group of Lancashire cotton and textile manufacturers to establish works in Australia. This would give an impetus to cotton-growing in Australia.
