BUDGET DISAPPROVED

SOCIAL CREflIT MOVEMENT.

(Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, August 17. A resolution expressing disapproval with the Budget in that it failed to honour the Government’s election pledges on monetary reform was passed unanimously at a meeting of the National Council of the- Douglas Social Credit Movement liei‘e over the weekend.

Mr R. P. Graham was elected national secretary, in succession to Mr J. G. Hankins.

It was reported that arrm‘lgemonts were in hand for lecture tours by the Earl of Tankerville and the Dean of Canterbury next year.
