MINIATURE RIFLES.

THE METHVEN CLUB. With a good attendance at the weekly shoot of the Me‘thven Miniature Rifle Club, there was some exceptional shootmg. In the competition for the club trophy three shoot-offs were necessary to find the winner, in W. M. Holland. The scores were: J. Rouse 69-2—70, J. E. Carr 67-2-69, E. J. Watson 66-9-70, W. Thorburn 66-6-70, W. M. Holland 692-70, H. Noble 69—3-70, J. Lye 5842-70, I. Mallett 67-7-70.

First shoot-off: Rouse 65-2-67, Watson 65-9-70, VVV. Thorburn 66-6-70, Holland 69-2-70, Noble 68-3-70, Lye 64-12-70, Mallett 65-7-70.

Second shoot-off—Watson 60-9-69, Thorburn 66-6-70, Holland 69-2-70, Noble 70-5-70, Lye 64-12-70, Ma-llett 64-7-70. Semi-final—Thorbum 62-8-70, Holland

68-2-70, Noble 70-3~70, Lye 64-12-70, Mallett 611-7438.

Final—Holland 61, Lye 49, Noble 41.

Holland won the Hdtty Button, with 69. Other scores we're: RouSe 68, Noble 68, J. E. Carr 68, Mallett 67.

In a match for a trophy donated by Mr H. E. Richards fhe first round resulted: Thorburn 66, Watson 64, Rouse 65, Noble 68, Carr 68, Holland 69.
